AMi President Excited for Partnership with FCA

Jan. 30, 2019—Earlier this month, the Automotive Management Institute announced it will host FCA training courses on a wide range of topics.

Weeks later, the excitement was still apparent in the voice of AMi’s president, Jeff Peevy.

On Tuesday, Peevy called the announcement that AMi will host Chrysler certified collision repair courses “pretty significant.

“What we’re seeing now is that [OEMs like Chrysler] are starting to think beyond the technical aspect; that’s where customer satisfaction comes in. More and more, they’re measuring the customer satisfaction index, or CSI. And that’s where we come in.”

AMi will now serve as the host of online courses that are recommended for collision repairers like technicians and those in management, such as “How to Leverage Your FCA Certification.” AMi teamed with both the FCA Certified Collision Network and Mike Anderson’s Collision Advice to provide what they feel is relevant collision repair industry training. The online courses, which are typically 45 minutes long, costs $41.50 per credit hour. More information can be found by clicking here.

“In the case of FCA, they have been determined to own the customer experience―to own that customer for life, or to have earned their business for life,” Peevy told FenderBender. “So they’ve recognized that their certified collision repair networks are really a critical part of that experience.”

"Our setup is that we have a platform and then we track and report the progress of those shops to FCA.”

Peevy also clarified that AMi will focus on serving as the training program host, while Assured Performance will continue to administer and manage the network for FCA.
