VeriFacts names SVP of operations

Oct. 26, 2012—VeriFacts Automotive, a provider of technical training, coaching and quality assessment for the collision repair industry, has appointed Douglas Irish as senior vice president of operations.

VeriFacts said Irish will be responsible for day-to-day operations, product planning and development, and expanding the company into new markets. Irish’s appointment is effective immediately.

Irish joins VeriFacts after 20 years working for MetLife in several technical and administrative positions. Irish most recently served MetLife as claim technical development administrator.

During his time with MetLife, VeriFacts said Irish focused on process improvement, vendor relations, and product testing and implementation. He also managed material damage teams, relationships with multi-shop and consolidator networks, and claim process product integration for the company’s IT department.
