CCC Information Services launches repair-update website

Jan. 27, 2011

Jan. 27, 2011 — CCC Information Services has launched a website to help collision shop customers keep track of their vehicle’s repair.

The site, myrepairupdate.com, is available to shops using CCC ONE Workflow, and allows customers to view images and notes after logging in with their phone number.

"Having the ability to share information on the repair with the customer is a significant part of creating a positive repair experience," said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of the Automotive Services Group at CCC. "Customers can log in and see, for example, if bodywork has been completed, photos of the vehicle in process, and how close the repair is to completion.”

If customers gave questions about a repair, they can use the site to send a note to the shop’s customer service representative.

CCC provides software, work flow tools and other technologies to the automotive claims and collision repair industries. For more information, visit ccc.cccis.com.
