RealParts.com enables photo uploads for searches

Oct. 8, 2010

October 8, 2010—RealParts.com announced on Thursday that repair shops can now include photos with their searches for parts.

"Giving shops the ability to upload photos with their RealParts.com parts searches will help maximize their getting the right part every time,” said Ken Weiss, president of RealParts.com.

"When shops are able to send photographs, recyclers are able to provide additional value,” said Jim Watson of ABC Auto Parts in Chicago. “Not only can we be absolutely sure we're confirming availability of the right part, we can suggest additional parts that might also benefit the repair as well as confirm moldings and other critical detail we might not otherwise have been able to differentiate."
