DingIT offers branded smartphone apps for shops

Feb. 17, 2012

Feb. 17, 2012—DingIT, a Web-based platform that enables consumers to solicit repair estimates from local body shops, now allows shops to develop their own branded smartphone applications so customer leads are sent directly to their location.

DingIT said a shop’s smartphone application can be provided to customers for free, which customers use to submit photos of their damaged vehicle to the facility. The application ensures that a particular shop is the first to be informed about the estimate request, and will be the only repair facility to offer an estimate.

The goal of the branded smartphone application, DingIT said, is to help body shops retain customers, attract new customers, and prove their commitment to offering high quality service through technology.
