Aug. 18, 2014—ACD, a claims management, advisory, audit and technology solutions provider, was named a Gold Stevie Award winner in the Mobile Apps category by the International Business Awards.

ACD’s mobile application, Self(ie) Service for automotive claims uses customer-taken photos, which are submitted via a mobile user interface and sent directly to ACD specialists.

“We’re thrilled to win this international award for the innovation of our mobile solution, Self(ie) Service,” Ernie Bray, ACD’s CEO, said. “To receive such recognition goes a long way toward our mission of expanding our reach on a global scale. We are seeing a tremendous awakening within the claims industry from insurers of all sizes who have adopted our technology & service solutions.”

The International Business Awards, now in its 11th year, received over 3,500 nomination from organizations in the industry for a wide range of categories.

Stevie Award winners will be presented their awards on Oct. 10 at a gala banquet at the Westin Paris – Vendôme Hotel in Paris, France.
