July 10, 2017—An industry painter has started a podcast dedicated to exploring refinishing trends and issues in collision repair.
Jeremy Winters, a past FenderBender subject, started the podcast called "Booth Talk" after finding success in bringing together many members of the refinish community through social media, including a weekly live streaming show on Instagram.
"I looked at the entire field and saw a market in the podcast realm that had yet to be tapped into," Winters said. "Yes, there are a few collision podcasts out there, including CollisionCast from FenderBender itself, but nothing specifically on the refinish side of our industry. By taking on topics that I see are popular, giving my take on them, I have a chance to bring something unique to the podcast market."
The first episode features a discussion with Tony Larimer, the director of sales and marketing at Dan-Am, who discusses the evolution of SATA products.
"I want to reach out to everyone within our industry, whether it be reps, techs, trainers, to bring a wide variety of people to talk with and get their stories," Winters said. "What interests me is people’s stories and I feel that it will interest many others as well by showing who these people are and what drives them day to day. I enjoy giving back and helping spread knowledge to everyone and that’s how we all learn and move forward."
