Service King Stakeholder Interested in Australian Collision Repair Chain

According to a report by the Financial Review, Blackstone has expressed interest in purchasing the AMA Group, the largest collision repair chain in Australia.

Jan. 30, 2018—According to a report by the Financial Review, Blackstone, co-owner of Service King, has expressed interest in purchasing the AMA Group, the largest collision repair chain in Australia.  

The story says that Blackstone has been granted due diligence on a an exclusive basis. The company is believed to be working on a proposal, which Financial Review is said to value AMA’s equity at about $1.30 a share or $675 million.

It is yet to be seen whether the bid will be accepted by AMA.
