June 29, 2018—Jaguar Land Rover is investing to keep away from diesels and move toward electrified vehicles, reported CNET.

Jaguar Land Rover is investing $18 million in electrification over the next three years, according to the report. In the past three years, it has spent around $14 billion on the same thing.

The investment will allow the automaker to offer three variants of all its future models by 2025, one with a gas engine, one with an electric powertrain and one that mixes the first two, according to CNET.

Last September, the automaker announced it intends to offer an electrified version of every car it sells by 2020.
