Sept. 23, 2019—U.S. safety regulators are investigating complaints of steering problems, reported The Detroit Free Press.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says it is probing into 2018 and 2019 Jeep Wranglers. Regulators are investigating 270,000 SUVs from Fiat Chrysler.

Complaints included frame weld problems, and steering issues of a shimmy or wobble, looseness or locking up. The Wrangler was recalled last year for misaligned welds that could cause steering problems.
