Dec. 21, 2016

Dec. 21, 2016—East Coast Body Shop in Columbus, Ga., recently held its fifth annual bicycle giveaway, benefitting local children.

This year, the benefit also helped provide support for the family of local resident Curtis Johnson, which recently saw an apartment fire destroy numerous possessions.

The total number of bikes given away this year was 995. Chester Jackson, owner of East Coast, told WTVM-TV that he hopes to give away even more bikes in 2017.
