Hawaii Shop Donates Car to Cancer Patient

Dec. 30, 2016

Dec. 30, 2016—Auto Body Hawaii recently gave away a refurbished vehicle to Kohala, Hawaii, resident Rochelle Javillo, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

Javillo has to travel from Kohala to Waimea regularly for chemotherapy, westhawaiitoday.com noted. Additionally, the cancer patient had been caring for her ill father recently, and, last year, her son had been diagnosed with pituitary tumors.

Auto Body Hawaii has donated a vehicle to a family in need eight times over the last 10 years. Each year, Auto Body Hawaii seeks out a vehicle that can be refurbished and given away. This year, the shop was able to help donate a 2014 Nissan Versa.
