Feb. 15, 2019—Honda was recently hit with a nearly $38 million verdict regarding a shoddy seat belt in Texas, according to a law360.com report.
According to the legal website, a Texas state jury on Wednesday found that a Honda minivan's seat belt system was improperly designed. And, as a result of that allegedly poorly designed seatbelt, the jury ruled that it was a chief reason why a Dallas woman was left paralyzed in a relatively recent rollover crash.
The woman was awarded $37.6 million.
