April 18, 2019—On Tuesday, the owner of a collision repair business in Massachusetts pleaded not guilty to dozens of charges, including insurance fraud.

Adam Haddad, 42, owns both Accurate Collision in Worcester, Mass., and ADH Collision in Everett and was accused by the state's attorney general's office of damaging customers' cars so that he could increase the bills he sent to insurance companies.

According to the attorney general's office, Haddad was caught on surveillance footage using objects like sledgehammers to damage vehicles at his Everett shop. And, according to a report by WCVB-5, a local ABC TV affiliate, the office claims Haddad stole more than $170,000 from multiple insurance companies.

Haddad's lawyer told the TV station that he's not aware of any evidence to support the indictments, and that Haddad is eager to defend himself against the charges.
