AASP-MN Awards Scholarships to Automotive Students

The organization provided a total of $16,000 to students in automotive service and collision repair.

June 28, 2019—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota (AASP-MN) recently awarded scholarships totaling $16,000 to help automotive service and collision repair students.

Of the 30 college and high school students that applied, 16 students were awarded the scholarship—$1,000 per student—and will help them pay for tuition or tools during the 2019-2020 school year.

  • Jeff Horecka, Dakota County Technical College, Rosemount – Automotive Service Technology
  • Wah Htoo, St. Paul College, St. Paul – Automotive Service Technology
  • Holly Isdahl, Dakota County Technical College, Rosemount – Auto Body Collision Repair
  • Brady Kellner, MN State College, Southeast Technical, Winona – Auto Body Collision Repair
  • Brenden Kerns, MN State College, Southeast Technical, Winona – Auto Body Collision Repair
  • Grant Leshovsky, MN State Community & Technical College, Moorhead – Automotive Service Technology
  • Samuel Nelson, Ridgewater College, Willmar – Automotive Service Technology
  • Khoa Luc Nguyen, Hennepin Technical College, Eden Prairie – Automotive Service Technology
