Aug.15, 2019—Amazon is set to invest in earnest in the transportation and automotive industry, according to a report by Learning English.

The investment could bring up competition with some of Amazon’s business partners, including the United Parcel Service and Uber Technologies because the company could start both sending products to customers and provide services to car drivers.

This effort comes from wanting to cut costs and improve customer service. Some experts say companies working with Amazon could potentially risk losing business with them as its transportation investment grows.
