CRASH Network’s “Insurer Report Card” is now launching for this year, according to a press release.
The report helps to grade insurance companies by state, with results being based on surveys filled out by collision professionals. The report card takes a minimum of less than three minutes to fill out, with all individual shop grades and identification information being kept confidential.
Collision repairers in each state are asked to rank insurance companies from A+ to F- based on how adequately the insurers' claims practices help promote quality repairs and customer service.
More than 1,000 collision repairers participate in the “Insurer Report Card” each year, with its results being referenced by sources such as USA Today, Forbes Advisor, and CNET, who use the information to educate consumers.
“Shops interact with insurance companies every day, so they are well aware that not all those insurers are alike,” said John Yoswick, CRASH Network’s editor. “The ‘Insurer Report Card’ is a way for the industry to channel that unique perspective and experience in a way that helps educate consumers.”
