Opus IVS Fully Releases Supergoose Plus

Opus IVS has now fully released its Supergoose Plus product, following a limited release this past May.

Opus IVS has now fully released its Supergoose Plus product, according to a press release.

Supergoose Plus is a multi-brand J2534 wireless vehicle interface supporting Ford, Toyota, Honda, VW, FCA, GM, Nissan, and Subaru vehicles. While it has been in limited release since May 2023, it is now seeing a full-scale release following user feedback and an increase in production.

The product aims to offer a low-cost solution for J2534 pass-thru diagnostics and reprogramming to OEM dealers and independent auto repair facilities.

It is a Bluetooth wireless device that comes with protocols needed for servicing newer-model vehicles, including DoIP (ethernet) and CAN FD on all channels and fault-tolerant CAN, I-Line on multiple pins, and UART Echo Byte.

Working through covered OEM diagnostic subscription offerings will allow for the device to perform emissions reprogramming and non-emissions programming OEM diagnostics.

“The Supergoose bridges a gap between the single-branded Mongoose and the high-end CarDAQ- Plus, giving affordable access to technicians and automotive repair shops,” said Opus IVS CEO Brian Herron. “Our customers want the dealership technology, and we've bundled the capability of 8 OEMs into a single device.”
