Crash Champions Founder and CEO Matt Ebert has been named the winner of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Midwest Award, according to a press release.
Ebert was one of 35 finalists that were first revealed last month and then reviewed by an independent panel of judges. He was announced as the winner at a special ceremony in Chicago, Illinois on June 21.
As the winner of the Midwest region, he will now compete against 11 others at the Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards ceremony this coming November, which will take place in Chicago as part of the annual Strategic Growth Forum.
Having started his business as one auto body shop in New Lenox, Illinois, Crash Champions has since grown into the third-largest collision repair organization in the U.S., consisting of over 600 repair centers across 36 states.
“This award is indeed a true reflection of the Crash Champions team. Entrepreneurship is about surrounding yourself with great people who are committed to a singular vision,” Ebert stated. “Throughout this journey, Crash Champions has assembled some of the very best people in the industry, all committed to making a difference in the lives of our customers.”
