A new Auto Glass Now location has opened in Colonial Heights, Virginia, according to a press release.

The 2,500-square-foot shop’s address is 1115 Boulevard, placing it in the center of Colonial Heights.

The store will be managed by Derek Merriweather, who brings 14 years of experience to the position. He is an “avid motorsports enthusiast,” and performed a variety of work in his previous position, ranging from “traditional preventative maintenance all the way to completely custom one-off builds.”

“My diverse experience has truly allowed me to become a jack of all trades in this industry,” Merriweather stated, “and I am excited to apply these skills to serving my community.”

Merriweather has plans for the shop to become involved with the community and “to give back to the youth, elderly, and homeless populations in the Colonial Heights area.”

The workers at the new location bring “a collective 50 years of experience” to the store. Auto Glass Now President Michael Lopez is confident in the Colonial Heights team, having described their passion as “unmatched.”

“No matter the years of experience each team member has, they are all equipped with a bright outlook and a genuine willingness to help serve all customers in their area,” Lopez said.
