Crash Champions and the National Auto Body Council (NABC) recently came together to donate a vehicle to an Army veteran in North Carolina, according to a press release.
The recipient was Cyril Smith, who was nominated by the Mecklenburg County Veteran Service Office. Smith served with the U.S. Army before being honorably discharged. Now a father of three, he was gifted a new vehicle at the Charlotte Marriott City Center on March 26.
“I can’t begin to tell you the difference having a safe and reliable vehicle will have on our lives,” Smith stated.
Along with the help of Geico and local partners, Crash Champions had the vehicle fully restored by certified technicians. The company has helped NABC’s Recycled Rides give away four cars to date and is considered a Level One partner with them.
“It’s always a particularly special moment for our team to step up and lend a small token of our great appreciation for those who have sacrificed so much for our country,” said Matt Ebert, Crash Champions founder and CEO.
