According to a press release, paint supplier AkzoNobel has announced Ricardo Rosso as the company’s new site manager for Pontiac Automotive and Specialty Coatings.
Rosso started with the company in 2011, working in Brazil. In the following years, he gained positions in AkzoNobel’s “supply chain, logistics and manufacturing teams,” as well as helping with “several projects across the wood, packaging and coil business segments.”
In 2018 he came to Houston, Texas to join the North American team as the production manager for Marine, Protective, and Yacht Coatings. In his new position as a site manager, he will oversee manufacturing operations and supply chains.
Rosso will report to the North American manufacturing and supply chain director, Nate Norris. Norris is confident in Rosso to carry out the role, having said he “brings excellent experience and skills to Pontiac.”
Rosso looks forward to beginning his position at the factory, which was acquired by AkzoNobel after the acquisition of Wyandotte Paint Products in 1983.
“It has been wonderful to be a part of the AkzoNobel Integrated Supply Chain transformation, and [to] continuously grow my career and skills for the past 13 years,” Rosso stated.
