CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. has announced Indiana Farmers Insurance as the latest to implement their AI-powered automated estimates solution for insurance companies, Business Wire reports.

Indiana Farmers Insurance plans to utilize CCC Estimate–STP, which will provide “detailed and actionable estimates” within seconds. The program uses “technologies, data, and partner connections” to generate repair estimates with information on details such as “parts, labor operations and hours.”

15 insurers in the market currently use CCC Estimate–STP, seven of them being a part of “the top 10 carriers based on direct written premium,” which accounts for 50% of claims.

Indiana Farmers Insurance President and CEO Wes Sprinkle said that the program will help technicians to save time and return customers their vehicles as quickly as possible.

“By using CCC Estimate – STP we can reduce the time our members are without their vehicles,” Sprinkle stated. “With a combination of AI and our own business rules, CCC helps us automate the repair estimate and frees up our claims representatives to focus on our relationship with members.”
