Nov. 30, 2018—The Mopar Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Winchester, Va., recently reached bronze status in the World Class Logistics program.
Mopar Winchester PDC is the second in North America to reach WCL bronze status. It is the third worldwide to earn the status. Earlier this year, Center Line PDC, located in Detroit earned WCL bronze level.
The WCL methodology provides a blueprint, using 10 technical and 10 managerial key metrics, for FCA distribution operations to follow. The Winchester facility has been able to reduce operating costs through continuous improvement projects.The facility opened in 2017.
