Feb. 21, 2019—The Wynn Company is being sued for attempting to force a Massachusetts collision repair shop into ending its lease, according to the Everett Leader. The Wynn Company is being sued for $9.6 million plus attorney fees.
A&R Realty Trust, the owner of the property across from the casino, has housed ADH Collision in Everett, Mass., for the past four years. ADH Collision's lease allows occupancy through Oct. 2021, and with extensions, until 2029.
The lawsuit alleges that from October 2015 to June 2016, Wynn forwarded a series of increasingly lucrative, written offers to Rocco Vigorito, the landlord of the property, to sell the property. But, Wynn demanded that the deal would only go through if the shop ended its tenancy and for the property to be delivered empty.
