May 31, 2019—Google has begun expanding its speed-limit and speed-camera information to include more than 40 countries, according to a report from CNET.
In addition to offering speed-limit information, Google Maps can now also warn drivers about stationary and mobile speed cameras along a given route.
Google started rolling those features out to new countries roughly two weeks ago, across both Android and iOS platforms. However, Android users will get an extra feature boost by being able to report mobile and static speed cameras, adding them to the system.
