The most expensive vehicle stored during Hurricane Dorian was a Pagani Zonda worth $7.5 million.
September 9, 2019—An apartment complex in Miami is holding over $20 million worth of luxury cars in its high-rise penthouse during Hurricane Dorian, reports the Miami Herald.
Porsche Design Building Developer Gil Dezer has built an elevator system in the building to bring cars into the apartment, holding two cars in most of the apartments, while the penthouse on the 56th floor holds up to 11.
Prestige Imports owner, Brett David, said that “it’s not about collecting a check” if anything were to happen to the cars, but “realizing that these cars are irreplaceable.”
Each one of the five cars that were kept in the penthouse, cost at least $3.6 million with the most expensive being a Pagani Zonda worth $7.5 million.
