Results of a BASF study show drivers are opting for diverse, chromatic vehicle colors.

Jan. 8, 2021—The 2020 BASF Color Report for OEM coatings shows the automotive color palette shifting from neutral tones to chromatic ones, at least in this hemisphere. 

According to a press release, North American buyers favor blue vehicles, while results from South America revealed its conservative buyers choose more conservative colors, like grey and silver.
