April 4, 2017—Car Guys Collision Repair, a Florida-based MSO, recently announced the acquisition of Express Paint & Body in Lakeland, Fla. The acquisition leaves Car Guys with 11 locations in Central Florida.
Express Paint & Body had been in business since 1999.
“Lakeland, with its proximity to Tampa and Orlando, is a great market,” said Dave Mitchell, Car Guys’ president and CEO. “While Lakeland has many strong dealers and quality independent shops, there is the need for additional repair facilities. … The newest location will help us better serve our insurance companies and dealership partners.”
Car Guys plans to continue to pursue strategic opportunities for growth, Mitchell said.
