Chip Foose receives 2015 NACE | CARS award for Chevy Imposter

Chip Foose of Foose Design won the Top Custom Car Award from the Automotive Service Association (ASA) for his restyled 1965 Chevy Impala “Impostor.”

Chip Foose of Foose Design won the Top Custom Car Award from the Automotive Service Association (ASA) for his restyled 1965 Chevy Impala “Impostor.”

The award was presented to Chip and members of the BASF Automotive Refinish team at the recent 2015 National Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE/CARS) in Detroit.

The Impostor features a custom paint from BASF’s Glasurit® 90-Line in Impostor Pearl Dark and Impostor Pearl Light.  This vehicle also won the 2015 Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama in March.  The Ridler is one of the custom car industry’s most prestigious awards.
