Dec. 19, 2012—CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts has expanded its business development team with two new network directors of its west and southeast markets.
Sean Darcy has been named as the director of network development for CARSTAR’s west and southern California markets. Darcy will report to Ryan Keller, vice president of development for CARSTAR.
CARSTAR said Darcy has more than 15 years of professional experience in the collision repair and automotive insurance industries. He previously served Fix Auto USA, and was responsible for the company’s sales and conversions. Prior to that, Darcy served as vice president of ICC Collision Centers, business development manager at Philip Thearle’s Autowerks, and territory underwriting manager at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.
In addition, Tom Pelletier joined CARSTAR as director of network development for the company’s south and southeast markets. Pelletier will also report to Keller.
Pelletier has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He most recently served as senior management consultant for the Automotive Training Institute (ATI). Pelletier’s other former positions include director of sales for ALLDATA, vice president of sales and marketing for Maxwell Emissions, and distribution and regional business manager for Snap-On Tools.
“We are pleased to welcome our newest team members,” said David Byers, CEO of CARSTAR, operator of more than 400 collision repair locations throughout North America. “They bring years of experience and insight to our team and we look forward to adding their perspective to serve the members of the CARSTAR family and grow our network throughout these regions.”
