FinishMaster adds two branch locations

June 25, 2012

June 25, 2012—FinishMaster Inc., a distributor of automotive paints, coatings and accessories, recently opened two new branch locations in Norfolk, Va., and Chattanooga, Tenn.

FinishMaster said the company now operates five locations in Virginia and two in Tennessee. The company has a total of 164 locations throughout the U.S.

Both of FinishMaster’s new locations joined with local Uni-Select Auto Plus facilities, a North American distributor of automotive replacement parts, equipment, tools and accessories based in Boucherville, Canada.

“The opportunity to expand FinishMaster operations through combining with an Auto Plus location provide us greater efficiency in how we serve our customers. Thereby, we are able to grow and provide both exceptional value and superior service,” said Daniel Courtney, president of FinishMaster. “Most importantly, these locations promote the opportunity for body shops to now have a one-stop shop, making their order process more efficient.”

Courtney said FinishMaster will continue to pursue growth opportunities in new markets, both on its own and with Uni-Select Auto Plus. FinishMaster currently has five additional co-location facilities with Uni-Select Auto Plus in Buffalo, N.Y.; Austin, Texas; San Antonio; St. Louis; and Kansas City, Kan.
