GlasWeld Customer Takes Top Honors at Windshield Repair Olympics

Oct. 28, 2015

Oct. 28, 2015—Randy Olson, a longtime customer of GlasWeld, took home the gold medal at the Windshield Repair Olympics in Reno, Nev., using GlasWeld windshield repair tools. Olson previously took home the top honors in 2010. His prize included $5,000, a gold medal, and a trophy.

The Windshield Repair Olympics competition is designed to exemplify glass repair technicians who excel at their craft and professionalism. Judging covers six major areas, including customer interaction and technician comportment, and safe and proper repair practices.

Olson, a retired fire department captain, used GlasWeld’s G3 ProVac Injector and ProCur2 LED UV Curing Light to repair windshields during the competition. Olson has been in the windshield repair business for 10 years.

GlasWeld was the platinum sponsor of the Windshield Repair Olympics this year.
