3M Releases Spray Gun With Replaceable Head

Sept. 30, 2013

Sept. 30, 2013—3M announced the release of its new 3M Accuspray HG14 spray gun, part of the Accuspray System HVLP line, that can cover the application of coatings requiring a 1.4 mm atomizing head.

The HG14 combines a replaceable atomizing head with 3M PPS technology. The spray gun is designed to optimize efficiency by minimizing overspray, reducing solvent use and decreasing hazardous disposal costs.

“3M continues to look for solutions for making the painting process easier and more efficient, while reducing non-productive tasks and environmental waste,” said Marlyn Nelson, U.S. marketing manager for 3M Automotive Aftermarket. “We have created the next generation of the innovative technology of the 3M Accuspray System to deliver painters a brand new spray gun at an affordable price that provides the same quality fine finish as a high-price gun.”
