DuPont management system automates updates to Enterprise

Jan. 5, 2011

Jan. 5, 2011 — Collision shops no longer need to worry about manually updating repair and delivery dates for Enterprise rental vehicles.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car recently approved the use of DuPont Performance Coatings’ (DPC) ProfitNet management system, which will interface with Enterprise’s Automated Rental Management (ARMS) website. The move allows shops to automatically upload vehicle repair and delivery dates, along with reasons for any changes, directly into the ARMS site, minimizing check-up calls from Enterprise and saving shops time.

“This latest interface with Enterprise Rent-A-Car is another enhancement to ProfitNet that provides key information exchange with industry partners so together we can help our mutual collision center customers lower their administrative workload,” said Tom McGarry, services manager for DPC Information Technology.

Jon Faris, corporate account manager for Enterprise, said the new system would help shops run more efficiently, allowing them to work on what they do best — collision repair.
