Toyota okays DuPont shop management system for its website

March 30, 2010

March 30, 2010—Toyota has approved a DuPont shop management system for its certified collision center website.

Toyota’s Certified Collision Center (TCCC) Program gave the nod to the DuPont Performance Coatings’ ProfitNet shop management system. The DuPont system will link with the TCCC key performance indicator (KPI) website.

The connection allows shops to automatically upload their repair order data—including vehicle data, parts data, labor data, and repair order totals—from the ProfitNet management system directly into the KPI website.

“This latest interface with Toyota Certified Collision Centers is another enhancement to ProfitNet that provides key information to Toyota so they can help their collision centers with continuous improvement,” said Tom McGarry, DuPont information technology services manager.

Roger Foss, TCCC manager, said the connection ensures security at all levels while allowing dealers to collect important data to better analyze, manage and improve the collision repair process.
