June 2, 2011

June 2, 2011 — The early-bird registration deadline for this year’s I-CAR Industry event was moved from May 31 to June 7, offering attendees another week to sign up at a discount.

Early registration is $195; the price increases to $245 on June 8. The event is set for July 19-21 in Salt Lake City.

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Peter Senge, a senior lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and author of “The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization.” He will discuss the importance of learning organizations and how they can enhance people’s ability to work productively toward common goals.

Also at the event, I-CAR will announce plans for enhancing its service offerings for career and technical schools and colleges. I-CAR will provide updates on the organization as well, including information on the progress of the I-CAR Professional Development Program.
