June 5, 2013—Federated Auto Parts recently recognized Federated member Don Bickle Jr., president of S&W Supply and Warehouse Inc. in Hays, Kan., with its Industry Advocacy Award.
“Don Bickle truly exemplifies the idea of giving back for the betterment of everyone,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Not only does Don play a leadership role with the Federated membership, he volunteers a considerable amount of his time, as well as his great knowledge, on behalf of the automotive aftermarket. Bickle began his automotive career as a service advisor in the early 1970s before joining S&W Supply and Warehouse. He was named president in 1989.
Bickle has served on the Automotive Service Association of Missouri/Kansas board of directors since 1985 and serves as chairman of the insurance trust of the Automotive Parts and Service Association. He has also served on the board of directors for Automotive Service Industry Association and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association.
He currently serves on the Federated executive committee and is chairman of the Federated audit committee.
