March 7, 2011 — Reflexxion Automotive Products recently filed a trademark infringement lawsuit accusing two other companies of using names “confusingly similar” to its Diamond Standard line of aftermarket bumpers and structural parts.
Taiwan-based Tong Yang Group and Texas-based T.Y.G. Management and T.Y.G. Products have used the name Diamond Quality for some of their aftermarket products, including bumpers and structural parts, according to a press release_notes from Reflexxion’s Diamond Standard division. Reflexxion is seeking monetary damages and injunctive relief to distinguish the product names.
The case is in the U.S. District Court of Tennessee, before Chief Judge Jon McCalla.
Reflexxion is based in Memphis, Tenn. For more information on the company or its Diamond Standard brand, go to reflexxion.com or diamondstandardparts.com.
