Fix Auto adds 50th franchise

Oct. 26, 2012

Oct. 26, 2012—Fix Auto USA recently added four new collision repair locations to its franchise network.

With the new shops, Fix Auto now operates 50 franchise locations throughout four U.S. states, and 137 locations overall.

“It’s satisfying to achieve the 50th franchise mark,” said Paul Gange, president and chief operations officer of Anaheim Hills, Calif.-based Fix Auto. “We continue to be selective with our franchise expansion, so it’s not really about the numbers, but we definitely want to celebrate this milestone. The accomplishment is a testament to the model and the type of operators that make up our organization.”

The company’s newest locations include: the following:

• Fix Auto Chula Vista, previously known as Greenwald’s Autobody and Frameworks, is co-owned by Dan and Karen Greenwald.
• Fix Auto Long Beach, a brand new location, is co-owned by Richard Fish and Bill Lawrence.
• Fix Auto Moreno Valley, previously known as Collision Center of Moreno Valley, is co-owned by Selvi Rizk and Nathan Comstock.
• Fix Auto Sacramento, previously known as G&R Body and Paint, is owned by Dave Picton.

Fix Auto Long Beach’s Richard Fish, who also owns two other Fix Auto franchise locations, said his affiliation with the organization was the catalyst that allowed him to open his latest operation. He said he has experienced business improvements with access to a recognized brand, strong industry relations, reporting tools and corporate support.

“My partner, Bill Lawrence, and I have been hearing for a number of years about the need for an additional quality repair facility in the Long Beach area, so when the opportunity presented itself we decided to pursue it,” Fish said. “Given my strong recent experiences as a Fix Auto franchisee, we knew that starting up as a Fix Auto location would help ensure our success. Franchising with Fix Auto was an easy decision for us to make and we definitely see some early results already coming to fruition.”
