Posi Lock Puller accepts SBA Exporter of the Year Award

Tamara Somerville, vice president of Posi Lock Puller, Inc. was presented with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 2013 North Dakota Small Business Exporter of the Year award.

Tamara Somerville, vice president of Posi Lock Puller, Inc. located in Cooperstown North Dakota, was presented with the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 2013 North Dakota Small Business Exporter of the Year award Wednesday, May 22 2013.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized as SBA’s 2013 North Dakota Small Business Exporter of the Year,” Tamara Somerville says. “We have aggressive international growth plans here at Posi Lock, and accepting this award is a fantastic milestone!”

Posi Lock Puller was founded 35 years ago by Dean Somerville when he developed an innovative manual gear and bearing puller featuring a patented steel Safety Cage®. Posi Lock Puller’s product line has since expanded to include hydraulic pullers, specialty tools and recently, the addition of the first 200-Ton hydraulic puller in the US.

The annual Exporter of the Year award recognizes an exceptional small business that is successfully engaged in exporting. Posi Lock Puller was selected following a statewide competition. They have been recognized by multiple parties including the North Dakota Trade Office for their export accomplishments.
