BBB Industries gets investment boost from Windjammer

Windjammer’s additional investment in BBB is in support of the company developing a major new customer relationship with NAPA Auto Parts.

Windjammer Capital Investors has made a $25 million follow-on investment in BBB Industries, a Mobile, Ala.–based supplier of remanufactured and new starters and alternators for the vehicle aftermarket. Windjammer had originally sponsored a recapitalization of BBB Industries in June 2007.

Windjammer’s additional investment in BBB is in support of the company developing a major new customer relationship with NAPA Auto Parts.

Windjammer Capital Investors, with offices in Newport Beach, California and Waltham, Massachusetts, is a national private investment firm that makes control and non-control investments in leading middle market businesses in partnership with management.
