Battling budget constraints, Century Truck Caps saw its dealers rally together to fund a spot for the company on the World of Trucks "Truck Pros" television show.

"We had a great opportunity for a 4-5 minute install segment for our Evolution Signature Series tonneau," says Sheryl Noblitt, national sales manager for Century, a division of the Truck Accessories Group, LLC (TAG). "But we had already committed our budget to other marketing initiatives. I presented the opportunity and dilemna to our top dealers and they responded unanimously by sharing the cost."

Each week, "Truck Pros" provides "how to" instructions on the updating and installing of the latest products available for the truck market. Hosted by International Drag Racing Hall of Fame inductee Ted Jones, each episode is geared toward those interested in keeping their truck looking and performing at its best.

"This was a great beginning. Dealers and manufacturers working together offer an innovative and cost effective way for everyone to benefit," says Gregg Borneman of Cap Connection in Waukesha, Wis., a participating dealer. In addition to Century's exposure, the dealers were also recognized in a separate 30-second segment.

"Truck Pros" airs on Monday nights at 5 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. EST.
