Probe Manufacturing, Inc., an electronics manufacturing company, has launched a new strategic direction focused on design, manufacturing and marketing of products that use renewable energies, increase efficiency and reduce negative environmental effects.

An electronics manufacturing and renewable energy company, Probe has spent the past two years funding research and development to design technologies and products that are environmentally friendly.

“We believe alternative energy and green technologies are going to be substantial growth markets in the 21st century and we have been slowly moving the company in that direction. Two major sectors in alternative energy are electricity generation and transportation; our research and development efforts have been focused on these two sectors,” she says.

“There are three interrelated factors that are driving the growth of alternative energy markets today and in the foreseeable future: economics, energy security, and environmental concerns. Probe is well situated to leverage its manufacturing and commercialization competencies, coupled with product knowledge and management systems to capitalize on these new and exciting markets. It is very exciting to be in a position that you can do well by doing good.”

Probe is committed to continued profitable operation of its contract electronics manufacturing business, while investing and expanding its foot print in alternative energy technologies and products, through organic development or acquisitions.
