ArvinMeritor buys commercial parts distributor

ArvinMeritor Inc. has acquired Trucktechnic, a commercial vehicle brake and component distributor.

An automotive parts supplier, ArvinMeritor purchased the Belgium-based company for an undisclosed amount, according to the Associated Press.

Trucktechnic, with 46 employees, will integrate its line of brake kits, components and testing equipment into ArvinMeritor’s current aftermarket product lines.
