George piloted his Funco Motorsports No. 42 Kawasaki/Yokohama Super Lite – outfitted with off-the-shelf Geolandar A/T-S+ tires – to a fourth-place finish at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, Ariz. to win the 2011 season championship. During the year he won five races and reached the podium nine out of 15 times.
