Mobile tire installer TireVan has launched its service in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The company recently opened a facility in Broomall, Pa. as the hub for its fleet to cover the entire five- county Philadelphia region as well as the South Jersey and Greater Wilmington, Del. areas.

“We evaluated several locations to begin our national expansion and determined that Philadelphia was the perfect market due to its high population of commuters and its close proximity to our headquarters,” says Phil Pifer, president and CEO.

“After seven years of successful growth in the D.C. region, we look forward to establishing mobile installation as a viable alternative in one of the most competitive tire markets in the country,” he reports.

Headquartered in Sterling, Va., the company offers a full selection of name-brand tires at competitive prices and professionally installs them at customers’ locations such as their home or work, according to Pifer.

“By offering a simple yet novel method of purchasing and installing new tires, TireVan is changing a retail experience that many consumers find inconvenient, expensive and unsatisfactory,” he says.

“Changing tires can be time consuming and, frankly, a hassle, so the concept of mobile tire installation appeals to all car owners, whether they drive a Mazda or a Maserati,” Pifer contends. “We’ve perfected the model, and TireVan aims to make the process of getting new tires a pleasant, convenient experience for customers nationwide.”

The company’s technicians “are highly trained to utilize state-of-the-art equipment to provide a superior installation, even in the most complex and demanding circumstances, such as servicing expensive rims and low-profile high-performance tires. In addition, the company’s service is backed by its low price guarantee, providing customers with a superior experience that actually costs less,” he asserts.

“We consistently achieve high customer satisfaction ratings,” says Pifer. “We don’t know of any other auto shop or tire retailer that can make that same claim.”

The Philadelphia launch marks the beginning of a strategic national expansion for the company that is designed to grow its footprint into new major metropolitan areas across the U.S. over the next five years, according to Pifer. It plans to open in a third major market within the next six months.
