Interested attendees should note that the “Early Bird” registration rate of $395 for the first registrant and $295 for additional registrants will end Sept. 1. The fees then rise to $425 and $325 respectively.
Additionally, a third of the golf tournament spots for the conference are already booked. Spots are limited for the popular event, and unlike past years there is no golf course available to handle any overflow registrations. The tournament tees off Feb. 16 at the Classic Club in nearby Palm Desert, Calif.
Rooms at the Westin Mission Hills are also being reserved at a fast pace. The room rate is $179 per night, and reservations can be made by calling 877-253-0041 or going to www.sdtarwoodmeeting.com. If calling for reservations, attendees must mention “Tire Industry Association/OTR Conference” in order to get the conference room rate.
A limited number of conference sponsorships are also available.“We are amazed at the rate at which registrations are already coming in for the 2012 TIA OTR Conference,” reports TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield. “Because of this strong demand, people need to know that if they are interested in attending and in participating in all of the events – especially the golf tournament – they need to register now, as there may not be any room for them later.”
