Toyo is competing in Bullrun, a cross-country
rolling festival that started in Las Vegas and
ends July 15 in Miami.
The Team Toyo entry is a 2008 BMW M3 constructed
and provided by VF Engineering of Anaheim, Calif.
The one-off, wide body creation features a
supercharged engine producing 620-horsepower.
Providing ground control are 20-inch Proxes T1R
tires in sizes 275/30ZR20 (front) and 345/25ZR20
(rear).
Tested and proven on Germany’s famed Nürburgring,
the ultra high performance summer tire delivers
precision handling and braking performance for
high-end sport sedans and coupes, according to Amy
Coleman, senior director of marketing.
Team Toyo celebrities taking turns behind the
wheel of the VF Engineering M3 will include
actress Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica,
UFC Lightweight Anthony “Showtime” Pettis, UFC
Bantamweight Miguel Torres, Strikeforce
Heavyweight Josh Barnett and former WWE wrestler
Shad Gaspard.
Also competing is Team Toyo off-road driver Robby
Gordon in a brand new Toyo tires-equipped 2012
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
