Running with Pirelli P Zero Slicks, the Pagani Zonda R has established a new record on the Nordschleife circuit of Germany’s Nürburgring course.
The Zonda is a hand-built carbon-titanium and carbon-fiber vehicle with a 6.0-liter AMG V-12 engine generating 750 horsepower.
“The Pirellis ensured excellent grip on the asphalt and gave the car the ability to transfer all the power of the car onto the ground,” reports Rafael Navarro III, director of motorsports and media relations.
Designed exclusively by Pirelli for the Zonda supercar, the tires were manufactured in Milan, Italy via the company’s Modular Integrated Robotized System (MIRS).
